Frequently asked

What does Oportunities actually do?
It’s an AI agent for creators. It connects to your Gmail, reads your inbox to find signals worth pitching (your plans, habits, and wishes), matches them to brands with real budgets and contacts, and drafts pitches in your voice. You approve each one, and it sends them from your own inbox and follows up. When a brand replies positively, that’s an opportunity created — and you keep 100% of any deal.
Is my data safe? Does anyone read my email?
Nobody reads your mailbox. Your email is processed by software, and we have no tool that shows a member of our team your inbox. We request only the Gmail permissions we need (read, and send what you approve), never full access, so the agent can’t delete your mail. We never sell your data and never use it for ads.

Two honest qualifications, because this page used to state it as an absolute and our Privacy Policy did not. A few of the records we keep contain text taken from a message — a subject line, and an excerpt of a brand’s reply — and our engineers can query those databases, under access controls, to debug and support the product. And every pitch you approve is blind-copied to a mailbox of ours that our team can open; that is a copy of your own outbound message, never of anything a brand sent you and never of the rest of your inbox. So it is accurate to say nobody reads your mailbox — not that no employee could ever see any string that came from an email. §5 of the Privacy Policy sets both out in full.
Does the agent ever send emails without me?
No. Nothing is sent until you approve it. Every pitch and every follow-up is shown to you first. There is no unattended auto-send.
How do I disconnect Gmail or pause the agent?
You can disconnect Gmail or pause the agent anytime from the app. Disconnecting revokes our access immediately. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
How do I delete my account and data?
Use Delete account in the appProfile → Danger Zone → Delete account. That button is the request: it records it, closes your account and starts the clock. We confirm by reply, complete it within 30 days, and email you when it is done. You do not need to email as well — though you can write to us if you would rather ask directly, or if you can no longer get into the app.
How does billing work? Can I get a refund?
Oportunities is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play — Launch (₹1,000/month, or ₹500 for your first month in India / $20/month) or Growth (₹3,000/month / $80/month). Annual plans are Launch ₹9,600 / $192.99 and Growth ₹28,900 / $769. There’s no free trial. Manage or cancel anytime in your app-store settings. Sales are final (no refunds) except where law or app-store policy requires; refund requests go through Apple or Google. See the Terms.
Will other creators see my information?
Only a minimal, non-sensitive summary of the plans/habits/wishes you log — your first name, city, activity type, and dates — appears in the in-app community feed. Your email, inbox content, brand conversations, contacts, payment info, and exact follower count are never shown to other creators.
Do I need Instagram to use it?
No. Instagram is optional. If you connect it, we use only your own profile, posts, and audience insights (via the official Meta API) to understand your niche better. We never access other people’s content or your follower list, and we never scrape.

Delete your account & data

You can ask us to delete your Oportunities account and the data we hold about you at any time. The quickest way is the button in the app; if you cannot get into the app, you can ask us by email without logging in.

How to request it — in the app

Open the app and go to Profile → Danger Zone → Delete account. That button is the request. It records it, closes your account and starts the 30-day clock — you do not need to email us as well. If you can no longer get into the app, or you would rather ask us directly, send a deletion request from the address on your account:

Email a deletion request

If you email, send it from the address registered to your account so we can verify the request is genuinely yours. Either way we confirm by reply, complete the deletion, and email you when it’s done. We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and a person on our team carries them out — not an automatic process.

What tapping it does

Tapping Delete account records your deletion request, closes your account and signs you out, and starts the 30-day clock. Your profile stops being served, the agent stops working for you, and you cannot get back in to it.

What it does not do is erase the few things we are required to keep. Records the law obliges us to hold, and the company mailbox addresses described in our privacy policy, survive a deletion — What we keep, and why names every one of them rather than letting “we delete everything” stand.

Cancelling is not a deletion request

Cancelling your subscription stops the outreach and stops the billing. It keeps your data, deliberately, so you can pick up where you left off if you come back — and it does not start any deletion. Uninstalling the app and going quiet do not delete anything either. Only the deletion request above does.

What gets deleted

What we keep, and why

A deletion is not able to erase everything, and we would rather name the exceptions than let “we delete everything” stand:

Timing — 30 days, actioned by a person

When we receive your request we stop all outreach and revoke your stored access tokens, and we complete the deletion within 30 days. Deletion is carried out by a member of our team, not by an automatic background process — which is exactly why the email request matters, and why we confirm by reply and tell you when it is finished.

You do not have to wait for us to disconnect Gmail: you can remove our access yourself, at any moment and without telling us first, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. That stops all reading and sending straight away.

One thing we can’t delete: pitches the agent already sent live in your own Gmail Sent folder — they were sent from your mailbox, so they belong to you. You can delete those from Gmail yourself. You can also remove Oportunities’ access anytime at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
